How You're Handicap Is Worked Out:

New Members are not eligible to win their first event they participate in. This includes winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes. Their handicap will then be calculated based on their performance.

If you win an event you're handicap will be reduced by 2 shots (1 shot if you score under 36 points).

If you finish in 2nd place you're handicap will be reduced by 1 shot (0.5 shots if you score under 36 points).

If you finish in 3rd place you're handicap will be reduced by 0.5 shots (you're handicap will not be reduced if you score under 36 points).

On the day of an event each player that scores below the average score will have their handicap raised by 0.5 shots.

Any player scoring 38 - 39 points will be reduced by a further 0.5 shots.

Any player scoring 40 - 41 points will be reduced by a further 1 shot.

Any player scoring 42 - 43 points will be reduced by a further 1.5 shots etc.
